Frequently Asked Questions
It depends on the device's filter technology. Ters osmoz (RO) systems; reduce chlorine, sediment, heavy metals and many dissolved substances to a large extent. However, water quality and proper filter maintenance directly affect performance.
Under average usage, pre-filters are replaced every 6 months, the membrane filter every 12–24 months, and the post-carbon filter every 12 months. The contamination level of your mains water and your daily consumption amount can shorten these intervals.
Some models may operate inefficiently at low pressure. Generally, a pressure of 2.5–3 bar or higher is recommended. If the pressure is low, “pompalı” models are preferred or a pressure-boosting solution is applied.
Reverse osmosis systems reduce dissolved solids; they can also affect these minerals. If desired, the taste and mineral balance of the water can be supported with a mineral filter or an alkaline filter.
Standard installation typically takes 30–60 minutes. In most cases a major plumbing change is not required; it is installed under the kitchen sink and existing connection points are used. A site survey/pre-check is recommended for suitability.
